Ingredients needed

Start by creaming butter, sugars, salt and vanilla extract together

Add the dry ingredients and toasted pecans to the creamed butter mixture. Mix to combine.

Carefully mix or fold the chocolate chunks into the dough.

Divide the cookie dough and shape into uniform logs, around 1.5-2" wide. Refridgerate at least 2hrs

Once the dough has rested, roll each log in coarse sugar and slice into 1/4-1/2 inch coins.

Bake the pecan shortbread cookies 12-14 minutes. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt if you like.
