Kaiserschmarrn Recipe

Kaiserschmarrn are fluffy torn pancakes, rum-soaked raisins, caramelized in butter, dusted with powdered sugar, and served with fruit compote or stewed fruit.

Ingredients Needed

Start with a very simple batter made from egg yolks, whipped egg whites, sourcream milk, a bit sugar,salt and gluten free flour

The batter gets first cooked on the stove before baked in the oven for 10 minutes. Make sure to top with rum soaked raisins

Once the Kaiserschmarrn cooked it gets flipped over and ripped in pieces. Sprinkle with more sugar and caramlize it

Dust the Kaiserschmarrn with powdered Sugar and serve with Applesauce
