Gluten Free Churros are made with a simple dough, fried to crispy perfection, and coated in a heavenly mix of cinnamon and sugar. Perfect for your Cinco de Mayo celebration!

Ingredients needed to make Gluten Free Churros

Start by making the gluten free choux pastry. Combine Water and butter in a pan. Bring to a boil. Then add the gluten-free flour and cook until liquid is absorbed.

Transfer the mixture to a food processor and allow to cool for a few minutes before adding the eggs. Mix until smooth.

Transfer the Gluten-Free Churro Dough to a piping bag fitted with a star tip. Place it in the fridge for 15-30 minutes to rest.

While the gluten free churro dough rests, heat up the frying oil to 360F.

Carefully transfer the fried churros to the prepared sheet tray or a paper towel-lined plate. Allow the churros to drain briefly before rolling them in the cinnamon sugar mixture

Serve the gluten free churros still warm along with homemade hot fudge sauce for a delicious Cinco de Mayo treat.
